The FCS Medicaid Application Assistance Program (MAAP) provides support to individuals who may be eligible for Medicaid benefits, but need assistance completing the complicated Medicaid Long Term Support Services (MLTSS) application. This fee-for-service program helps simplify the process, facilitating a client’s ability to access assistance for healthcare-related costs.
To be eligible for Medicaid, you need to be both financially qualified and have a medical need for care. Eligibility requirements differ from state to state and necessitate a long, complex application process that can sometimes discourage individuals from seeking the Medicaid coverage they need and deserve.
MAAP aims to take some of the stress out of that process by providing help and support to eligible individuals in the community. Our knowledgeable, experienced, and diligent staff will work with you to complete the MLTSS application and help you qualify for the benefits you need.
Our MAAP coordinator will:
- Start the MLTSS application process
- Obtain all necessary documentation, including birth certificates, marriage licenses, property deeds, life insurance policies and bank statements
- Liaison with medical, government and financial institutions on your behalf
- Follow through with the application until final determination
