FCS Leading Lights Gala
The FCS Leading Lights Gala is the largest fundraiser of the year, benefiting the agencies 13 programs and services. The Gala also serves as an opportunity to honor those who have been tireless advocates for the agency and those we serve.
Family & Children’s Service (FCS), Monmouth County’s oldest, private, nonprofit social service agency, honored two longtime community partners, owner and CEO of We Care Adult Care, Inc., Tracey L. Wolfman and Church & Dwight Employee Giving Fund, Inc., along with its former Board Chair, Debbie O’Donoghue at Navesink Country Club (NCC).
FCS depends on the philanthropic support of the community to strengthen, protect and preserve the dignity and independence of people in need. We are grateful to our Gala underwriters, sponsors and donors who are an important part of that support.

The 2019 FCS Leading Lights Gala was held on Saturday, November 16th, at Navesink Country Club.
Each September, the FCS Navarumsunk Auxiliary hosts a bridge tournament to benefit FCS. The afternoon event, which includes a buffet luncheon, draws dozens of duplicate and party bridge enthusiasts who play for points and prizes. Last year’s tournament attracted more than 100 competitive bridge players.
The 2019 Navarumsunk Bridge Benefit was held on Wednesday, September 18th, at Rumson Country Club!
FCS Golf Classic
Every year, FCS (Family & Children’s Service) hosts a summer charity golf outing at one of the Jersey Shore’s premier golf clubs to raise funds for critical agency programs and services. The 18-hole tournament, organized and orchestrated by a group of dedicated volunteers, includes a buffet lunch, golf outing, cocktail reception, awards dinner and multiple opportunities for cash prizes. The event raised more than $40,000 to support FCS programs and services.

Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show
Every May, the agency’s Navarumsunk Auxiliary hosts an Annual Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show featuring designer fashions, a ladies shopping boutique, 50/50 raffle and themed auction. This long-standing event raises thousands of dollars each year for FCS and has been supported by our community for 62 years.
