Paul Stach named new Chair of FCS Board of Directors

Paul Stach, Chair Board of Directors

Please join us in welcoming retired finance executive Paul Stach of Little Silver as our new Chair of the Family Children’s Service (FCS) Board of Directors. Paul succeeds Little Silver attorney Dena Reger whose two-year term expired in December.

“Paul will continue the tradition of strong leadership of our Board of Directors,” says FCS CEO Delly Beekman. “His professional skills and experience coupled with his deep understanding and compassion for the vulnerable make him an effective and worthy advocate for the agency.”

Established in 1909, FCS is Monmouth County’s oldest private, non-profit social service agency providing compassionate care, intervention and education to people during challenging times in their lives. Its fourteen diverse programs and services focus on the needs of multiple at-risk populations, including Adult Protective Services, Community Support Services, Home Care Services, Representative Payee and Volunteer Services.

Mr. Stach, who joined the FCS Board of Directors in 2012, has served in a variety of leadership capacities, including Chair of the agency’s Revenue Task Force. In addition to his volunteer work with FCS, Mr. Stach is a Trustee at the Church of the Nativity Roman Catholic Church in Fair Haven, NJ where he also serves as a member of the Finance Committee and a lector, and has chaired the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. He is also Treasurer of the Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ, where he and his family are members.

“It is a great personal honor to be chosen as Chair of the Board and to follow in the footsteps of my talented and hardworking predecessors,” Mr. Stach says. “During my tenure as Chair, we will strive to increase our ability to meet the needs of the many who fall between the cracks of our society through existing and new programs; to maintain and improve the strong financial posture of the agency so that it can continue its great accomplishments for the next one hundred-plus years; and to preserve and expand the extraordinarily dedicated and hardworking staff of FCS.”

Prior to retiring in 2015, Mr. Stach was a Founding Managing Partner at Osprey Partners Investment Management, LLC, where he also served as Chairman of the Management Committee, Chief Economist and Head of Fixed Income. His career also included executive management positions with Fox Asset Management and Kidder Peabody & Co. Paul holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Williams College. He is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft.
