Founded in 1909, Family & Children’s Service (FCS) is Monmouth County’s oldest private nonprofit social service agency. All our programs and services are provided regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, language spoken or physical or mental ability. And while FCS partners with many organizations and government agencies, in many cases, we are the sole county-designated provider of unduplicated services and the last hope for individuals, families and seniors in crisis.
FCS provides toys, books, clothing and infant necessities to thousands of children and their families during the holiday season.
FCS is often the last hope for people in crisis. But we do not do it alone. We depend on the generous support of people like you who care about their neighbors in need. Your gift to FCS can make a big difference in someone’s life. A gift to FCS to supports people in need in our local community. Whether its $25 to purchase a child’s winter coat, $500 to bring relief to a caregiver or any other donation, your gift will have a significant and positive impact on someone in need right here in Monmouth County.

Like most working mothers, Jean juggles her daily schedule with the busy schedules of her four children. But for this single mom, the juggling also includes frequent time away from work without pay to care for a daughter with multiple disabilities. The holiday giving program provides gifts of toys, coats and pajamas to children whose families are facing financial challenges.
