Bridge Enthusiasts Sought for Annual Charity Tournament

Rumson Event to Benefit Family & Children’s Service

LONG BRANCH, NJ, August 18, 2011 – Bridge enthusiasts are invited to try their hand at the Sixth Annual Navarumsunk Auxiliary Benefit Bridge Luncheon, Wednesday, September 7th at the Rumson Country Club in Rumson. The event, which will feature both Duplicate and Party Bridge, will include a full buffet luncheon under the beautiful backdrop of the Rumson Country Club’s Pool House. Master Points will be awarded. All proceeds from the event will go toward funding critical programs and services offered by Family & Children’s Service, Monmouth County’s oldest non-profit organization.

“Much as bridge players rely on their partners at the table to succeed, we rely on the Navarumsunk Auxiliary for their continued support,” says FCS President and CEO, Vincent D’Elia. “The Bridge Luncheon is just one of the several fundraisers the Auxiliary sponsors each year. Their enthusiasm and devotion to our mission has helped us serve the people of Monmouth County for more than 100 years.”

Tickets to the Benefit Bridge Tournament are $70 per person, but space is limited. Interested players are asked to register by September 2, 2011. For more information or to register, contact Diane Gribbin, Director of Development at 732-222-9111 extension 134 or at dgribbin@fcsmonouth.org
