Charity Event at Deal Golf & Country Club to Feature 9 and 18-hole Tournaments
LONG BRANCH, NJ, April 9, 2012 – The public is invited to take part in the annual FCS Golf Classic, Monday, June 11 at the historic Deal Golf & Country Club to benefit Family & Children’s Service (FCS), Monmouth County’s oldest nonprofit social service agency. Deal is one of the premier golf courses at the Shore, known for its professionally-designed course, lush landscaping and traditional clubhouse; one of the oldest in New Jersey. Golf enthusiasts of every skill level are invited to take advantage of this unique opportunity to play a celebrated course while contributing to a worthy cause.
Registration fees for the 2012 Golf Classic are $395 for individual golfers and $1,580 for a Foursome. Registration includes golf cart and green fees for 18-holes of play, a buffet lunch, cocktail hour, gourmet sit-down dinner and awards. Lady golfers can opt to participate in the Women’s Shore Challenge which includes a buffet breakfast, morning clinic, green fees and golf cart for 9-holes of play, lunch and awards. Ticket prices for the Women’s Shore Challenge are $200 for individuals or $800 for a Foursome. There are also numerous sponsorship opportunities available, as well as opportunities for donations to the evening’s silent auction. Last year’s FCS Golf Classic raised more than $30,000 to support the critical work of FCS, including home care and caregiver relief for the elderly and disabled, homelessness prevention, childhood literacy and many other programs.
