Samantha White, FCS Director of Volunteer Services, was recently named a 2017 “Leader of Distinction in the Field of Aging” by SCAN, the Social Community Activities Network, an organization which provides activities and resources for those over age 50 in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Samantha, who directs our in-school RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) programs Reading Buddies and Healthy Buddies, as well as our Medicare counseling service, SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) was was recognized for her service to the senior population during SCAN’s annual luncheon, Tuesday, October 17 at Seabrook’s Town Square Building. Congratulations Samantha and to all the 2017 honorees!
