Thrift Boutique partners with Cinderella’s Closet to offer Formal Wear

The FCS Thrift Boutique is partnering with Cinderella’s Closet of Monmouth County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting self-esteem among young adults, to offer a special sale of new formal dresses and gowns at the Boutique’s new location at 604 Second Avenue in Long Branch.

“We are excited to partner with Cinderella’s Closet, an organization whose Mission closely aligns with our own,” says FCS CEO Delly Beekman. “The partnership allows us to provide a valuable resource to budget-minded families and individuals, while at the same time, raise funds for essential programs and services that serve the most vulnerable in our community.” (more…)

FCS Thrift Boutique to reopen in new Location

The FCS Thrift Boutique’s new home at 604 Second Ave., Long Branch

Six months after fire damaged the building that housed the FCS (Family & Children’s Service) Thrift Boutique at 307 Branchport Avenue in Long Branch, forcing the agency to suspend business for the remainder of the year, we are proud to announce that the store will reopen in March in a new location just across town, at 604 Second Avenue in the West End Plaza.

FCS Thrift Boutique Closed Due to Fire

thrift1The FCS Thrift Boutique in Long Branch will be closed indefinitely due to fire. The blaze, which broke out in the upstairs apartment of the building at 307 Branchport Road on July 7th, was contained to the upstairs unit and no one was injured, but the resulting smoke and water damage forced the agency to temporarily suspend business.
